My favourite thriller

My favourite thriller is the sixth sense. this film, directed and written by M. Night Shyamalan starring bruce willis and haley joel osment, was realeased on the 5th of novemer 1999 in the uk. it focuses on the story of a young boy who communicates and speaks and sees dead people, their spirits. this is something that scares and terrifies the young boy, until he finds comfort  from a child psychologist played by bruce willis. it is the psycologyical trauma within this thriller that has lead me to choose it as my favourite. i am fascinated my the mind, its tremedous ability to overcome fear or create. it i snot the brain physicaly that intrigues me, but the being of it. the existence of consciousness and unconciousness. they way it has complete control over the body, hence my interest in psycological thrillers. this i sa very emotional and heartbreaking, the torrment that the youn boy suffers is truly mentally horrific, but it is not just his own trauma he is having to deal with, he also has to deal with the death of the spirits he encounters, their traumas and their pain. but most of all the painfully emotional twist at the end of the film truly is an incredible display of the minds ability to decieve itself, when we findout that bruce willis is himself a spirit.
this film also contains an incredible moment of cinema...and one of my personal favourite lines within a film context......'i see dead people.'
